HOW DOES IT WORK?
BASICHEM Radiation Control coating line is comprised of proprietary ceramic particles, complex of nanoparticules and other sophisticated fillers suspended in several water based acrylic/urethane resins. The problem of daily expansion upon heating and contraction upon cooling, causes most structures to become susceptible to leaks, corrosion and structural fatigue. By utilizing these ceramic & nanoparticles, structures are kept cooler by repelling/emitting 94% of the radiant heat away from the coating, while the remaining 6% is absorbed evenly over the entire coated area. Thus leads to a stronger structure & allows energy savings to reach up to 40% and significantly lowers evaporation loss on petroleum tanks. With a two coat application of these Radiation Control Coatings, an R(resistance) equivalency value of 20 can be achieved. This would be the same insulation value of 4" of standard batting insulation, the fillers in these coatings are used for mildew resistancy, corrosion control and allow the coatings to be applied to a myriad of substrates in harsh environmental climates without the worry of substrates in harsh the various high grade resins used in these coatings, a superior adhesion is achieved while still maintaining a flexible monolithic membrane that prevents water migration.

CTE-901 is an emultion of high grade acrylic resins in water. It dries by evaporation to yield a tough, velvety, non-yellowing, water repellent surface with exceptional abrasion resistance and ultra-violet light stability. CTE-901 when applied directly to rust, will immediately convert iron oxide to iron sulfate upon contact, preventing further rusting problems. Unlike other coatings, it contains the added advantage of ceramic particles. These particles are the heat and cold dissipating elements in CTE-901 that give it the ability to save on heating and cooling costs.
